Ultimate Lake is in the Loire valley, bordering on Normandy and is just under a 5 hour drive from Calais, 2 hours from Caen and only 1 ½ hours from St. Malo. Gorron is only 8km away where there are 2 supermarkets and other small shops.
Ultimate Lake is 11 ½ acres in size and is set in a tranquil and secluded wooded area. The lake has 12 swims and has had an extensive re-building programme which started in 2004. This included re-shorting of banks, removal of all fish and the re-stocking of healthy carp. The lake now holds 345 carp all over 20lb, including 155 x 20's, 130 x 30's, 40 x 40's, 5 x 50's up to 56lbs.
Ultimate lake has a fully equipped bank side lodge including; cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, washing machine, table and chairs, Sky TV, and a darts board. Outside you will find table and chairs and a barbeque. There is a shower block with separate ladies and gents toilets. There are also 8 bank side bivvy cabins taking away the need to bring your own bivvy.
