I have allowed a 4 lb weight gain for each fish next year and from my detailed catch reports I would expect that any fish that was caught at 36 plus during 2007 will be a forty for 2008. The figures suggest a total in the region of 200 forties will be landed in 2008. That averages out at 6 per week but I would expect the peak weeks to exceed this by quite some margin and I expect thirties to out number twenties. It would seem reasonable to expect 2008 to see somewhere around 700 thirties landed.
