At the beginning of this year an additional larger chalet was installed which now separates the facilities. The smaller chalet sleeps 4 and has a large vanity unit plus a shower. The larger chalet is fully fitted with kitchen appliances - fridge, freezer, cooker, toaster, microwave and sky tv. There is also a large table and chairs for dining indoors should you wish to eat inside. Both of these chalets are independently wired to mains electricity.
The growth rate of the fish stock has been outstanding this year. On average the carp both mirror and common, have put on 6lb - 8lb, with one exceptional mirror carp putting on 20lbs in just 16 months. This particular carp when last caught in October now weighs in at 43lb 6oz.
With regards to catfish we have 7 different fish in the 90lb barrier, with the best weighing in at 99lb. This year 5 out of 6 catfish have come out in daylight hours. A fantastic season, we're now looking forward to the 2007 season.
