Chris Laflin and two friends spent the first week of the season at Etang Maitresse. Although the weather was awful, the fish didn't mind at all and they managed to catch a staggering 93 fish between them. With one of the party having never caught a 30 before, he smashed his personal best and had the biggest carp of the week at 34.5 lbs.
