Les Croix is a 3.6 acre spring fed lake,on a secure fenced site in the quiet, scenic, unspoilt Charente region of South West France. Wildlife is abundant with buzzards, kingfishers, woodpeckers and many other wild birds. Perfect for couples and families, well behaved dogs are allowed.
The lake has a population of around 150 hard fighting carp, most of which are over 20lbs, there are plenty of 30's, and several fish of 40lbs+. There are few doubles, and no singles. All the fish are rapidly piling on weight and some very nice surprises are expected in 2009. The banks are flat and grassey, and there is vehicle access all around the lake.
The owner, Jon, is a UK qualified and experienced fisheries officer so you can be sure of a well managed lake !
