House was far better than expected, even after seeing the photo's on the carp-france.com site.

General comments
Very nice place. Weather not brilliant, but better than UK's. Fishing harder than expected, but with hard work and good watercraft decent catches possible.

Artiffical pop up corn two yellow and on red topper on a 6in rig with tight lines

house and lake were supurb ( water pressure was low but useable )

General comments
Fishing was hard as fish were spawning and weather was changeable but a good time was had by all, 3 personal best on the trip, house was fantastic although probably could have been used more!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
Bait up during day , fish nights only and for one fish at a time. Most fish caught tight to margins.

Excellent accommodation, and lovely lake , fishing not easy but the rewards are there if you put in the effort.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
Fishing slowed down as weather warmed up. Fished days only. Most fish caught from opposite end of lake, far bank. Best baits Chocolate Malt ( dynamite baits )..Spicy Tuna - Irish Cream.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Have been fishing last five years in France. Firs is the best venue so far having quantity and quality of fish.

Accommodation + location couldn't ask for more beautiful

What a brill week. Thanks Hugh & Sarah for a wonderful holiday. We will be back. Julie smashed her PB twice with a 33.10 Mirror and a stunning 34lb Common.

9 fish caught all at night. all fish were mirrors, all over 20lbs with the largest being 34lb 10oz.
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
Set up on the far bank furthest from the house. Fished towards the Island on right hand margins. Used the partiblend provided over boilies.

Yes, fantastic house and lake, eveything was perfect
