Had a fantastic time, the food is great and Dave & Caroline really make you feel welcome, doing everything in their power to please. Dave's great advice put me on to a few fish and his bait ain't bad either! Will definitely be re-booking - Ken Keep doing what you're doing! - Ben

The food was excellent and Dave was a great host. comming out at all hours to take photos. Every one was very friendly and i will be going back there.

I had 39 runs and 30 fish with 5 30's and 18 x 20's mostly over 25. The biggest mirror was 33.8lb and common 31.8lb. This after the fish had spawned.
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
putting a good bed of pellet in the margin with a few freebies over the top
Were the facilities what you expected?
Lake looks superb and will only get better with time. I'm not sure how many other fishing venues have walk in shower!!

General comments
I loved the venue and will be going back, the food is fantatsic, and David and Caroline could not be finer hosts. I had Dave up at all times of the night taking photos for me and never once complained, and could not have been more helpful.

we caught a few fish 18lb mirror, 18lb 8oz mirror to 28lb mirrors 29lb mirror 34lb 4oz mirror
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
monster crab boilies worked well 2 15mm fusion boilies on a hair rig worked really well. Tiger nut boilies was working qiuet well also on a hair rig.
Were the facilities what you expected?
They were much better than we expected and there is still work in progress

we were more than happy.

10 fish banked, lost a few, plenty of high twenties but the big ones evaded me. Heard one crash one night, sounded like a bloomin cow falling in.
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
Boilies with PVA sock.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Much better than I expected.
Were you happy with them?
Very happy.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
\"Drive and survive\" doesn't describe this place very well. I was literally pampered by the hosts David and Caroline.

Yes I would, if I had any.

Hard fighting Carp up to 33lb. Although we did see/connect with a lot bigger fish!!

Air dryed boilies from the venue, fished over pellet and maize. Bait Boat is handy

Food package was V. Good as were the shower and toilet facilities
