double 18mm boilie wrapped in paste (helped get rid of bream) and pva bags

good lake good facilities helpful owner had 8 carp 1 cat and lost 3 big cats. my advise to anyone going is to take 20mm boilies min to try and get rid of bream which were a pain

great lake, good facilities and Gareth the owner was very helpful, the fishing was a bit slow due to time of year and weather but we all had a good time, one thing thing i would say to anyone thinking of booking this lake is take big boilies to to try and get rid of the bream

Water was higher then last time we were there but still had a lot of fun other lake did better this time but going to go again in september can not wait

We got 2 big cat fish biggest was 49lb also got 8 carp biggest was 28lb 5 of the carp were in the 20lb mark the smallest was 5lb and like i have said before we lost about 5 or 6 fish i do know one of them was a cat.

We are not big carp fisher men or cat, but we wanted to have a go. seen it so many time's on T V have caught a few carp but nothing big Had a very good time lost a lot of big fish weather was bad rained every day but the lakes very good this one and the other would recommend this place to every one and have done so.

19 fish caught including 7 x 30's (most over 35lbs) with the biggest carp being 39lb 8oz. Also caught a 37lb linear and and 85lb cat. 5 other cats cam out between 30 & 40lbs. Weather was terrible, so it was a tough weeks fishing.
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
Used Nash crab with scopex and robin red along with crushed hemp and crushed seed as a particle mix soaked in robin red.

Yes, very clean and tidy.

The group fished just 48 hours and landed over 20 carp. This included mirrors of 44lb 5oz, 40lb 1oz,37lb 7oz,35lb 3oz,30lb plus a common of 44lb
What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
The tactics used was a baitboat and particles (hemp & pellet) with Pro Line boilies fishing to the central plateau.

Thanks again for the fabulous weekend and for your warm welcome. We enjoyed ourselves very much.The lakes are beautifull and there are cracking fish in the lakes.
