Sadly I caught nothing but Terry caught a 30lb mirror on Eagle Lake (with the Owner's permission)

We tried a variety of baits. Terry caught the mirror on boilies over pellets

Pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment of the accommodation

Please don't let our \"non-catch\" report put you off ! We're complete beginners and learned a lot from our visit to Birch Lake. We met some very nice people who gave us many tips and will be returning to the venue without fail..................highly recommend the place and Paul is so helpful............thank you

What did you find were the best tactics/baits?
the best tactic was to use luncheon meat over a bed of pellets bait boated under trees on far margin put baits to moving fish and wait.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Although reasonably old the facilities are very comfortable to have by a carp lake.

yes very happy!

yes the whole complex is great!

i would recommend the services to anyone

Thanks to Tony the baliff for his help and the use of his bait boat battery and charger! His dog Sasha is lovely.
