The lake is perfect for both day and night fishing with excellent access. The record stands at a 42lb mirror with many doubles & twenties. There is also the opportunity to fish for a variety of coarse fish including trout, tench, perch and roach. In addition, there is a lakeside shelter with a wood burner, basic cooking facilities and a toilet.

The Millhouse has a 12 acre lake fed by a small natural river and is set amidst 38 acres in a secluded valley. The tranquil, scenic setting makes this an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The lake is perfect for both day and night fishing with excellent access round the lake It is suited to both the experienced and novice angler alike with carp going up to over 45lbs with many around the 32lb mark. There is also the opportunity to fish for a variety of coarse fish including trout, tench, perch and roach. There is a lake side shelter with a wood burner, basic cooking facilities and a toilet.
 

The Millhouse is situated at the lake side and has to be seen to be believed. It has been restored to maintain its original 18th century charm. The well equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and fridge/freezer. The living area is spacious and comfortable and includes satellite TV. The Millhouse can accommodate up to six people, with two double bedrooms and a downstairs bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is ideal for a family as it comes with an adjoining twin bedroom, private sitting area and second bathroom. The Millhouse, with its very pretty gardens and seating areas, offers relaxing and exquisite views across the river.
