Lac de Laneuville is situated in the heart of the Champagne region on the edge of a dense forest.  It is a family owned fishery run by father and son team Peter and Ross Denny, who have many years of carp fishing experience.

The scenic spring fed lake is very private, offering peace & tranquillity.  There are two islands, overhanging trees and depths ranging from three to twelve feet.  Lac de Laneuville has grassy level banks and has eight spacious swims with one double.  The lake is booked on an exclusive use basis for a maximum of 4 anglers.

In addition to the original stock, in 2004 the lake was stocked with 180 common, mirror and leather carp.  There is an impressive head of 40lb plus fish and an excellent proportion of carp are over 30lbs. At the start of the 2011 season a new lake record was set at 54.12lb common.

The facilities are fantastic.  There is a superb modern chalet where you can relax and enjoy all the comforts of top quality accommodation beside the lake.  Features include three bedrooms, two shower rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, large comfortable dining and living area with sky television and an outside sheltered bbq area.

Lac de Laneuville offers a well stocked tackle shop with full bait service.  All particles used must be purchased on-site, a wide range are available at competitive prices.

A food package is available and includes a full English breakfast and 2 course home cooked evening meal.

The charming town of Montier-en-Der is an easy 10 minute drive away.  There you can find supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants.  Lac du Der, a popular tourist attraction is just minutes away and has sandy beaches, ice cream parlours, bars, restaurants, scenic walks and a range of water sports.  The beautiful medieval city of Troyes is 45 minutes away.  Amongst its attractions are the Mc Arthur Glen designer factory outlets.  For young families, Nigloland theme park is just 35 minutes away.

The 5 acre lake is very private offering peace & tranquillity. It is spring fed with a clay bottom. It has two islands, overhanging trees and depths ranging from 3 – 12 feet.

In addition to the existing stock of carp, the lake was stocked with over 180 mirror, leather, common and grass carp to 54lbs and has catfish to over 50lbs!

There is an excellent head 30’s and 40's with NO problem fish such as crayfish or poisson chat, leaving no reason to net your bait. There are 8 spacious swims with one double. The lake can be booked on an exclusive basis for a maximum of 4 anglers for one week.

No permits are required and the lake has legal night fishing.
