To the left of the kitchen is a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin and the stairs to the upper level. Other facilities also include a flat screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player. Ample electrical sockets have been provided for the charging of mobile phones, laptops and other equipment and external power sockets for the charging on bait boats/batteries.

Collected rain water is used to service the facilities.

The upper level presented with a king size double bed and two draw units to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Mosquito netting has been fitted over the window so you can sleep with the windows open. Please note that the stairs to this level have a steep angle so may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. A large double sofa-bed is provided on the ground floor.

For reasons of health and safety owning to the type and nature of the wood floors throughout, no bed chairs are to be used in the chalet.

The area in front of the chalet has been opened up to provide clear views from the Chalet across the lake and an area to sit and admire the abundant wildlife. The lake supports several families of Ducks and Great Crested Grede's. Heron's frequent the lake and can be observed fishing in the margins. The dawn chorus is amazing and last well over an hour. During the day, frequent visitors to swims include Chaffinches, damselflies, dragonflies and a huge variety of butterflies. If you are really lucky, you may even catch sight of Kingfisher's and the Woodpeckers, Kite's and Buzzards who nest in the surrounding forest. If you love wildlife - bring your camera - you won't be disappointed.
