Etang Marolles is a premier 13 acre lake situated between the French Normandy and Brittany border in the beautiful countryside of Loire. The area is steeped in history with the nearest town of Fougères home to the biggest castle in Europe. The surrounding area is mainly agricultural land, with fields of maize and cows, sheep and horses grazing in nearby fields. It is a stunning area with breathtaking views and a perfect place to take time out and to relax.

13 acre lake set in the beautiful countryside of Loire, northwest France.  The lake offers 14 well constructed oak framed swims.  Fish stock comprise of both mirrors and commons stocked to 47 lb in 2006, with a good head of fish in the  20's, 30's and upper 40's.  All swims are accessible by vehicles for dropping off equipment.   A  large secure car park area is provided for vehicles to be parked during your stay at Etang Marolles.  Remote controlled bait boats are allowed and available to hire in addition we provide a baiting service to those wishing to drop out larger quantities.

• A lakeside lodge built on the edge of our lake, with an internal seating area for anglers opting for the meal package, but also a large decked outside area for anglers to sit out and enjoy the beautiful views

• A separate shower block with two showers and w/c to cater for all of our anglers needs
   
• A separate drying room for your angling clothes
   
• Ample secure car parking with two separate caravan parking spaces with power hook up points. All carp swims can be accessed by vehicles, although this is purely for dropping off and collection of equipment and cars must be parked in the car park

• Charging point for mobile phones, bait boats, and other electrical equipment such as line alarms

An excellent food package is available which includes a full English breakfast or Continental breakfast plus a freshly prepared & homemade, two-course evening meal.  Cost £105 / €126.  Lunch time snacks and drinks also available.
