Beausoleil is a quiet, beautifully secluded 4 acre lake set in the Bretagne region of northwest France. The lake has an impressive stocking of Carp to 50lb and Catfish to 95lb.

The venue is about 1 hour 20 minutes drive from the port of St Malo. Close by are the historic towns of Laval and Vitre and everything else that this region of Brittany has to offer. If you fancy a break from fishing there is plenty to see in the surrounding area, it boasts a wealth of lakes and rivers amongst natural forests and valleys.

You and your party, of up to 4 people, will have exclusive use of the lake and fully equipped house.

Beausoleil is an estate-type lake with a two bedroom property set in six acres of beautifully
managed grounds. There is a fantastic variety of wildlife, including kingfishers and red squirrels
which abound on the island, and around the lake itself. The lake has depths ranging from 2 - 6 feet;
the weedy shallows are spanned by a wooden footbridge to the shady tree-covered island.
Beausoleil is a tree-lined lake of four acres brimming with large carp and catfish, as
well as coarse fish. Amongst the mature trees are nine clearly marked out swims giving
ample room to set up your bivvy.

Beausoleil boasts an impressive stock of fish, including Carp to 50lb and Cats to 95lb

It is recommended to use the Carp pellets available on-site as the fish are fed on these all year.

1 Set 220lb Reuben Heaton scales and 1 two-man Catfish weigh sling lifting bar
4 Pairs Catfish gloves

1 Rowing Boat (please bring your own life jackets)
Numerous tubs for water/rubbish/pellets etc

Beausoleil has a bankside property exclusive to you and your party (maximum of 4 people). This includes two twin bedrooms, a bathroom/shower, toilet, lounge/diner and fully equipped kitchen with all the usual fittings.

New for 2011: there is also a full UK sized pool table, second bathroom with shower and a utility room.

There is a bait freezer-storage area and washing machine in a separate room. The house is well equipped with no need for you to bring anything (except towels). For the evenings there is a English TV, video, hi-fi, dvd player and plenty of DVDs and books.

Outside is a BBQ, garden table, chairs and parasol. Around the lake, you will find large A-Frame tables in the Home swim and Double swim.

Bankside Tackle's 20mm D-Liver boilies, matching hookers, wafters, popups and glug are available on site. There are also Carp pellets available for pre-order. Both boilies and pellets are highly recommended and have accounted for many of the carp and cats including all lake record fish. Both are top quality food source baits which all the fish love.
