Vallee Lake 1 - More & more PB's
With the last two weeks producing fantastic catches we thought it may slow up, however this week has topped them!
With an incredible 29 fish over 40lb , including 2 x 60b + , 4 x 50lb , 23 x 40lb + ,71 fish banked !! the average being well over 40lb + and all anglers catching fish over 40lb all round the lake !
Awesome fishing !
Certainly a few pb' s smashed this week.

Etangs de L'Ecurie - Tall Trees - 41lb L'Ecurie Mirror
A beautiful pristine 41lb L'Ecurie Mirror, caught yesterday afternoon by Chris on Tall Trees. What a stunner (the fish :) )!
Etang Rendezvous - w/c 9 May 2015
Weather: the air temperature averaged between 25⁰c - 29⁰c with a water temperature of 24⁰c. There were only two on the lake this week neither of which fished nights.
A total of 1,526lbs+ of fish were caught this week comprising the following:
Carp – best catch of the week weighed in at 43lb+, and the rest were 2 x 15lb+, 8 x 20lb+, 15 x 25lb+, 7 x 30lb+ and 4 x 40lb+
Grass Carp – 1x22lb+
Cats – best catch of the week weighed in at 88lb, and the rest were; 47lb+, 50lb+, 76lb+, 80lb+ and 85lb+ plus 1 kit (16lb+)

Weather; air temperature was 14⁰c with a water temperature of 18⁰c.
A total of 3,698lbs+ of fish were caught this week comprising the following:
Carp: best catch of the week weighed in at 57lb9oz common, and the rest were 7x15lb+, 34x20lb+, 47x25lb+, 18x30lb+, 13x35lb+, 2x40lb+ and 1x50lb+.
Cats: best catch of the week weighed in at 71lb+, and the rest came in at 49lb+, 45lb+, 38lb+ and 2 kits.
Pike: 15lb+ and 13lb+
The Retreat - Lake Record at The Retreat
Congratulations to Mike& Craig Shepherd who visited The Retreat the last week in April and caught the lake record Common at 41lbs, commenting that it was the strongest fighting fish they had ever caught! Strageties which helped were fishing from margins using a bait boat with high beds of bait. Hook link to boilie and popup imitation sweetcorn, bait bed of pellet, sweetcorn and boilies.
Mike and Craig commented that the Gite and Lake can only be described as excellent. Pat and Philip were exceptional hosts and made our stay very comfortable and welcome.We will recommend to friends and family without hesitation.
Etang Rendezvous - w/c 25 April 2015
Weather: It rained every day; Wednesday and Thursday it rained for 48 hours solid. The air temperature averaged between 17⁰c - 18⁰c with a water temperature of 16⁰c.
NEW RECORD - A total of 5332.5 lbs of fish were caught this week comprising the following:
Carp – best catch of the week weighed in at 59lb, and the rest were 1x15lb+, 25x20lbs+, 46x25lb+, 32x30lb+, 17x35lbs+, 7x40lb+ and 3 x 50lb+ plus 1xpastie
Cats – 19 cats were caught with the largest weighing in at 128lbs, and the rest were 25lb, 36lb, 40lb, 66lb, 2x67lb, 68lb, 69lb, 73lb, 75lb, 79lb, 2x80lb, 81lb, 85lb, 2x88lb and 102lb.
Pike – 3 pike were caught the largest weighing in at 11lbs.

Weather: the air temperature averaged between 25⁰c - 29⁰c with a water temperature of 24⁰c.
A total of 3512 lbs of fish were caught this week comprising the following:
Carp – best catch of the week weighed in at 52lb 8oz (caught twice), and the rest were 5 x under 20lbs (smallest 14lbs), 53 x 20lb+, 34 x 30lb+, 8 x 40lb+ and 2 x 50lb+
Cats – 3 cats were caught with the biggest being 80lbs.
